Hello from SE Georgia
« on: May 22, 2015, 11:10:39 PM »
I started shooting black powder in the late 70's. Bought my first cap n ball revolver around 1980. My SASS alias is Hogleg Hunter and I am a familiar face at a lot of the matches in Florida and Georgia.  I usually shoot Frontier Cartridge or Frontiersman categories (both are BP categories).

Welcome aboard! Love to see some pictures and maybe a little bit of the history behind your shootin' irons!

Howdy and Welcome to the forum Hogleg Hunter.  Always nice to add another Frontiersman to the family

Late to the party but Welcome!  Grab a chair and get some coffee.  Speak up, some don't hear well and others don't read well so post pictures.

The first photo is of the guns that started me in BP pistols. Then I got a long barrel Remington (no photo of it but I still have it)

Next photo is of a Pietta 1862 which I just got this past week. Liked it enough that I ordered another one so I would have the 2 needed for SASS competition. The rest are my competition guns (pairs). '58 Remington cap guns, 1872 Colt Open Tops and Uberti Remington conversions in .38special. The last photo is one of a pair of '73 Colts I use for Frontier Cartridge.

Wouldn't upload photos. Said they were too large. Will post them as soon as I edit them.
