Oddly enough, "lane splitting" is not only legal here in Kommiefornia, it's encouraged! This place is ass-backwards.

It ain't legal here. Not that many riders here know that. I've had some of them argue the point, until I call up the A.R.S. to show them. It isn't even legal for a pair of motor cycles to ride next to each other in the same lane.

We were returning home from a visit and were on a 2 lane State highway. Traffic was heavy in both directions when this group of 16-18 bikers came blasting past us between the lines of cars, down the center of the road. It appeared they were experienced in doing that sort of thing. (jh

Today, even though it was day 14 of 15 that it rained at least part of the day, I did get out to shoot.
I shot the 1860 Army today. Very enjoyable!

Today I had an appt. with a dermatologist who froze a couple of areas on my left ear. One of the quickest procedures I have had. I think we were in and out of the clinic in 20 minutes. We were 15 minutes early and were called in right away, no waiting! Unheard of.

Today is day 19 of the last 20 that we have had rain at some point during the day.
Wife is off Sat, Sun and Mondays.
Tired of being stuck indoors, we decided to drive about an hour and a half to get to a book store.......Yikes......a book store!!!!!
Being a car guy too.....I spent a little time in the transportation/ car section and then the magazine section. The only thing I bought was a current issue of Hemmings Motor News,as my subscription had expired. IHOP breakfast for lunch!
At least we got out and did something today.

Sure beats hunkering down, Doc! We've had enough of that over the last year!

Sure does, Captain!
It served the purpose of getting out, going somewhere and having some kind of an adventure.

That actually sounds like fun Doc. I used to love going to the book store and getting a magazine. They always had cool stuff that you can't get at the local grocery store on the newsstand.

Yes, Dave it is.
The thing is there are fewer and fewer of these book stores that exist.

Very true! I had two very good book stores i liked to haunt on occasion. Both are long gone for at least 6 years now.
You can get anything on Amazon, and free shipping too.

I went in for a follow up with my heart Dr. While I was there I got really dizzy. I always get a little dizzy for a minute or two when I first stand up but this time I was sitting down and it didn't go away. My blood pressure was a little low so they wanted to check it with me sitting, standing and lying down. When I stood up my wife said I just zoned out and didn't answer questions. Then I just plopped back down in my chair. My Dr. was concerned I might have had a light stroke and sent me to the ER. My wife wanted to drive me to the door but I said I'm fine, I can walk. I got out of the car and I got dizzy again and my wife said I just fell back into the car and slid down to the floor sill. She had to get help to get me inside where they put me in a wheelchair. While I was waiting my vision blurred and I was seeing double. My blood pressure had dropped to 90/40. After five hours an MRI and two bags of drip and some other tests they concluded I didn't have a stroke and it was just my bp. So it looks like y'all are going to have me to antagonize y'all some more.  (7&
