Snowed a bit here last night. Chilly morning. Fortunately it'll be in the 80's next week. Our 1 day of winter is finally over!

We had our 1 day today too Mick. It was 32 degrees this morning, and everything was covered in ice. That doesn't happen here very often.

Why Loco, from the look of your picture it appears you people were snowed in deep.  It'll take a week of snowplows to dig out from under all that.  Should we send food, blankets, ammo?  Whisky?  Let us know what ya need.

We got your storm first over on the Coast Range.  Snowed pretty good up in the hills on Sunday and Monday.  Hiked around in it and shot an 1860.  Having grown up in LA I'll always be a tourist for snow.

Arizona Sonora-Saguaro country is the best desert in the world and up on the Mogollon is the Center of Earth.

We'll be there in a couple of days..... but I sit sit outside and smoked a cigar with my coffee this morning (my morning regimen)  even though it was 42 degrees. Got to wear my long johns and goose down coat which had been in the closet for a couple of years. At least it was sunny!

Bread raising, started curing nine pounds of Dirty Chai bacon, and nine pounds of Green Chili bacon. Made eye doctor appointment and truck service appointment. Must go to the tire place tomorrow and order tires for the truck. I may start prepping brisket for pastrami later. And I have to make soup for dinner.
