Armi San Marco

I just picked up a NIB Armi San Marco 1851 Mason Dixon Commemorative.
Date code AZ (1990), note on EMF box says "Shot Show '93".
My plans are to shoot this one, problem is cylinder bolt spring is broken.
I see Deer Creek has them listed, but would I be better off with a wire spring
from Wolf's? Any input appreciated.

I've always just used the stock flat springs in my C&Bs.  Even the ones I use in competition.

Hi SledMan, I don't like the wire bolt/trigger springs. They always need cutting or are too short. You will spend more time screwing around trying to get the wire spring to work reliably than it's worth. Stay with the original flat spring IMO.

If you are handy, a dandy one can be made from a rake tine (on the metal rakes). One old metal rake can supply a lifetime of springs.
Just sayin'.....

Well I just installed a new Uberti Bolt Spring which I ordered from Midway USA.
I wasn't sure if it was going to fit but I needed some other stuff so I ordered it.
Just to report it fits great. I just set it in place & tightened the screw,
back in business. Now I need to get out & see what this thing can do.
