Are the 1847 Colt Walker C&B cylinders, inside the chambers the same size/dim. from open end to nipple hole?

Hi Sam, based on my current manufacture Uberti Walker using a hole gauge:

Cylinder chamber end = 0.449"
Cylinder chamber middle = 0.444"
Cylinder chamber nipple end = 0.442"

Yes, there is a slight taper.

BTW, the Howell Uberti .45 Colt conversion cylinder throats are 0.453".

Thanks Richard! 

The reason I was asking was...the painted lead bullets of green ones that I made...I can slip these right in about 1/4th into the Colt Walker cylinder. So, after pouring in about 40grains of T7 powder(or whatever powder I'm using)I can ram these green lead bullets down and get a good seal.

Hi Sam, if the balls are that small make sure you use an overball lube to prevent crossfires. Franky, I would avoid using such small projectiles in the Uberti Walker.
