While most of us here would be more than willing to blather on for hours in answer to your simple question, maybe you're just looking for a simple answer (or don't want to listen to our blathering!) Simply type in the topic in the Search Bar on the upper right-hand corner of your screen and click on "SEARCH" and you should pull up a string of related topics. Or, you can ask the question and listen to us blather....your choice!

Perhaps I could have worded that a bit better.  When you are in an area, say "Welcomes and General Information", does the search function only search in that area or is it forum wide?

Pretty sure it's forum-wide. I tried a search in "Welcomes" using ARMY and it pulled up a number of threads containing the word ARMY from all over the forum.
