For those of you with Comcast/Xfinity...if you go to the On Demand function and search TV shows, there is a fairly new series hosted by Joe Mantegna called "Gun Stories" (hint; look under "G"). Episode One begins with a short history of Samuel Colt and his firearms. Pretty good!

They did a show on  "Colt Cap and Ball Pistols"  Is that the episode you are talking about?

Watched this episode again last night. It ran through the Colt lineage from the Paterson, to the Walker, Dragoon, Pocket, '51 Navy and ending with the '60 Army. Lots of good footage for those who are unfamiliar with the role Colt played in the history of firearms. While I love all guns and have learned a bunch from this series, this was hands down the best episode, except maybe the one on Christian Sharps...
