Pietta Army "brasser"

This one only lasted a few weeks in my safe. I got it used, but unfired, and sold it unfired as well.
Note the smaller Navy grip.

  That's interesting.  So it's a brass Navy frame with a .44 cylinder and streamlined Army barrel?

Yep. That's the way it came, too. Guy I got it from had it given as a gift and hung it on a wall for a long time. Never fired it.

  I'm getting kind of amazed at the way these frames and barrels can be swapped around.  For instance, I'm wondering if 60 grip frames could be matched to a 51 Navy .36 frame and barrel?  I think that would make a sweet shooting pistol...not sure how it would look.

On the current make Piettas the frame for the Navy and the Army is the same size. So the grip frame should swap just fine.
