Navy brasser
« on: August 09, 2013, 09:20:07 PM »
I sold this Navy brasser the same week I got it, after working the action and a nice cleanup. Still managed to get a few photos before it left.

Adios, muchacho....

How much work did you have to do to get it in that condition? Looks good!

Not much, really. Tore it down, stoned the hammer and trigger, then wet-sanded the frame and grip frame starting with 320 grit and finishing up with 1500, then Flitzed the snot out of it. A couple evenings' light work, if that. I do remember it came and left the house in the same week...... ;)

Sure looks nice.  I'm hoping to get one like it, but I'm sure it won't look THAT good.
