New 1851 Navy Sheriff
« on: October 19, 2013, 07:27:08 PM »
Wandering around in the Glendale AZ Cabela's, I found a 1851 Navy Sheriff (brass framed) in .44 cal.
As I was checking out, the checker female said that I won a free item.
I waited for it to come down and it was the starter kit.
Also they had Remington #10 percussion caps at $7.95 (or thereabouts), got one of those too.
Now to wait for Wednesday to try her out at Rio Salado.  8)

Yes, I know about reduced loads and I have some Goex 3Fg that I'll probably use, so I don't have to figure out those percentages using "propellants".  *Z$

Be sure to provide a range report on what loads you use and how she shoots.  They are purty

I bought the same set up last month.  Got the free stuff too.  Nice little gun even if it is Brass.  I don't mind reduced loads.  I have several steel framed guns I can load up if I want.

Yes, I agree and I also have others to shoot heavy loads too.  (7&
