Just my Jeep
« on: March 30, 2016, 06:40:40 PM »
This is what I use to get around in the backcountry near my home in California's Eastern High Sierra. It is also my daily ride: a 2005 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. Jeep produced this model for a short time only, between 2004 and 2006. Kind of a modern version of the old Scrambler. This two door stretched Jeep has plenty of room in the back for tons of camping and black powder gear. No lift and just 31 inch tires, but it takes me anywhere I want to go.

My biggest concern is that when I pass away, my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them.

That is nice. I had to sell my 95 Grand Cherokee Laredo a few years ago and I sure do miss it.

Nice!! I have a 2013 Wrangler, black 2 door with a hard top, with an auto trans.  It came with 31 inch tall tires,so it likes snow and dirt. With the 285HP motor, its faster than hell, but still idles up steep hills without any trouble.    Lots of fun.   The wife likes to steal it on snowy days for work. But with a full roll bar in the cab,its safer than her Honda Civic.  Besides, she likes to break trails for the snow plows on the back streets of Saint Paul when we get a foot or more of snow.     &\?
