1860 Army on Sale

Well dang it I went to order Cabelas 1860 with extra cylinder today, their SOLD OUT.

Hi Hewy, sorry to learn you missed that great deal. I did the same thing with the Pietta 1862. When you see a great deal from Cabelas jump on it or lose it. Every now and then Cabelas clears their inventory with a super deal. I look every day for those specials. There is usually another inventory adjustment just before Christmas.

Yes I know they do run those sales. Xmas, Fathers Day, Thanksgiving etc ,it will come around again.
In a way I'm not sorry I missed it, really want an 1861 Navy. I'm calling Cabelas to see if they
will sell one. I saw they do have them but not available online...... wonder why not.

I missed the Cabelas sale on an 1860, however that worked out
as I located a sale on that very gun ,sans the extra cylinder which is no big deal.
I will be picking it up tomorrow.

Comment  on my previous posting, I called Cabelas about getting an 1861 Navy, they
told me they don't stock it and will not special order one.

Hope you get hold of a good one Hewy.  Most Pietta made revolvers are good but if you get a bad one it is really bad.

Over the years I have made any number of revolver returns to Cabella’s, sometimes more than once on a single gun.  Eventually they get it right and make me real happy.
