Btw Capt.  You were asking about the size of the .31s.  Although your Q was about the diameter, you can still see the two elongated sizes in that one picture above showing the 48 sitting on all the balls. Just for a little perspective.   Light elongated,- 57g.  Heavy,- 78g.

Hi Kry, neat pockets!

I have been thinking of getting the Pedersoli Screw Barrel kit and nitre bluing it:

https://www.dixiegunworks.com/index/page/product/product_id/8502/category/327/category_chain/312,325,327/product_name/PH0545+Pedersoli+Screw+Barrel+Pistol+Kit

I wonder if any of our members have the Pedersoli Screw Barrel pistol and what they think of it?

Regards,
Richard

You re  getting the Liege screwbarrel?!  I can t  wait to hear how you like its firing etc!

I have a blast with mine!

Be careful!  Once I fired it at a old and hardened 2 x 12 that was used for concrete forms. From 6' that fugg n  ball bounced off and hit me in the upper thigh. It broke the skin and bruised me.  Man!

At 12 yds though, it went right through one 1'' pine board and bounced heavily off the second one.

Hi Kry, I ordered the Pedersoli Screw Barrel pistol kit. I had previously said that I would never do a kit gun again. So much for intent. Every kit gun that I finished turned out much better than the equivalent factory finished replica firearm. Both kits and finished replica firearms purchased are only firearms with potential requiring a good deal of gunsmithing.

The only issue I have with the muff gun is that there are no sights. It's begging for a laser sight?  )lI )lI )lI

Since you already have a screw barrel, maybe you can start a thread for Screw Barrels under "Brand X"?

Regards,
Richard
