Lee 200gr conicals-hand cast

I have personally used nice, greasy, organic lubes with BP since I have heard of nasty cleanup problems with petro-based stuff like liquid alox.
I have heard from many that it leaves a tarry residue that is not as easy to clean as lard/tallow based lubes ( like deer tallow, sheep tallow, or spg )

I seem to remember some discusssion on this...

Yup Liquid Alox is a highly volatile petro/mineral spirits based stuff. Great for smokeyless cartridge powders tho.

yes this is what ive heard as well and thus the inquiry. i must have misread above where somebody used the Lee Alox for lube ... must have meant for cartridges and smokeless powder. i use it like that as well but never quested into the Alox/blackpowder arena
