Guess I’ma collector too.  All eight of my imports get shot, they’re workin guns and I’ve never figured out which is my favorite.  I suppose they ALL are and there are none I could get by without having.  It’s a grand addiction and I would not change a thing about that except to get more of these pistols and make them shoot too, regularly.

I think of myself as more an accumulator, like Hawg. Depends on what you collect. I was told that a collector specializes on a particular make/model/series, etc. My "accumulation" ranges from matchlocks, flintlocks (pistols and rifles), percussions, cannons, on through BPCRs into modern guns.

I agree with the accumulator descriptor over collector.  I have no desire to go out looking for and aquiring, just for the purpose of collecting.  I wanted an example of each of the models to use -actually fire etc- (two Walkers though).  Just the basic models though.  Not the fluted, engraved, nickel, stainless and so on.

I don t  have the 2nd Gen wells Fargo though.  Instead, I have a  3rd Gen 1849.  I m  wanting the Wells Fargo though more and more.

There was no Wells Fargo inn the second Gens.  It is a baby Dragoon.  Dragoon has oval bolt stops while the Wells Fargo has rectangular bolt stops.

I guess I'm an Accumulating Collector.  Collect the 2nd Gens and shoot some of the 2nd Gens with the imported models I've accumulated, although I don't shoot them all.

The one I would like to have is the one with the oval cylinder slots, ranger scene and no loading lever.  The nomen of it is Baby Dragoon.  Ok.
