I recently got these modern made spear points. I was intending to make a neck/patch knife out of one but they're too big and bulky. I can't find any original points that look exactly like them. They still look cool tho. I've got a couple of pieces of elk antler that will make good handles. Whacha think? Any other ideas on what to do with them?

I signed up for a tactical email—a spam thing, IDK—a year ago. Once in a while, they'll send me an email saying, "Free knife, just pay shipping." Yup, Chinese stuff, you can imagine. But I've gotten cool knives there, and one is my EDC.
They called it a Stiletto, spring assist opening (like not a switchblade, but... it flirts with the line of legality), amazingly sharp, and pretty.

The first one that someone else needed worse than I ($8, it was principle more than cost for me) had a Zebrano-esque handle, loved it.
But then, they had a 2/1 special, and the black one came with a resin faux Ivory and a Cherry wood stainless.

My attempt to make a "BBQ knife" resulted in more orders and a drawer full of knife parts, but I got the EDC I wanted.
I gave the ex gf the black and now Cherry wood handled one; I have three dead (they kinda came apart upon removal of the handles, and it didn't make sense to me how they went back together or the spring yeeted itself across the den, etc.)

If anyone wants a handle for stainless Chinese knife blades, let me know. (I'll include the handle part of the folder as well.)

I've never googled it, but that's just what I've always been told. Guess I'll research now.

Apparently 46/50 they're legal to own in.
It looks like 50/50 it's against federal law to cross a state line with them in your possession.

A lot of states have relaxed their laws against switchblades. Tennessee for example changed their law a few years ago to allow them, but I remember when it was a felony to even possess one in TN.
They've always been 100 percent legal in my home state of Alabama.
