Hi, I noticed that this thread encouraged at least one new person to post, but it was on the Remmington message board. A bummer. IMO the message board that currently posts the most useful information on BP revolvers is this message board. I have come to the conclusion that the low information people post to the Remington message board, the experience post to this board.

Now sipping the best low cost 12yr old single malt scotch, Glen Moray. I have a case here to share with anyone near Western New York state. In the past I used to drink blended scotch, but since discovering Gen Moray I will never look back.

Regards,
Richard

Hi, after not being able to get on the internet because of a power outage from 75mph winds Wednesday for three days, I am disappointed that there are very few new posts to this message board. When this message board was started, I suggested that it was a message board not needed since all BP revolvers are covered on the Remington message board. Hate to say it, but I now believe that I was correct, there is no use for this message board. Posting statics proves my point.

Want to keep this message board?, then damn it, post something.

Regards,
Richard

Richard,

Able to do any shooting once the wind subsided and power was out?

Hi Whip, oh yes, maybe a few thousand rounds of both C&B and conversion cylinders. Any week not shooting is a very sad week. I'm not a natural handgun shooter so either I use it or lose it. Of course having my own range helps a lot.

Have you been shooting?

Regards,
Richard

I hope to get up to the range this week.  I haven't been in a while now, but I've already loaded some cylinders up so I'm ready to go.  Life got interrupted by Irma and was out of balance there for a few weeks, but we got really lucky.  Kinda figured I'd lost all my gear when we evacuated.  I'd hoped to go to our latest gun show yesterday but I didn't make it, there's almost never anything there I'm interested anyway, but it's still a good place to hunt for the latest sad looking BP revolver that needs a good home.

Whip

ps..I do want to work on a new range box...

I've got a few of those (empty) purple velvet bags myself. I played my 'pipes at the wedding of a friend and she gave me a big purple bag...and it was full at the time.

Good ol' Crown, used to be quite a fan back in the day. At one point I had to get rid of half of my crown bags, I had all of my dice separated into them (from DnD) and realized it looked like I had a bit of a sauce problem

Richard, I am working on a 12-year old bottle of Glenlivet single malt my son gave me. Like any poison, it's best taken in small doses. ;)
Good stuff.
