1860 Army

Well it happened again. Went to pick up one gun and a Pietta 1860 Army hitched a ride home as well. It was manufactured in 99. It does have some cosmetic issues and hard cocking on a couple of chambers but I figured it was worth $106. Trigger is excellent with almost no takeup, barrel/cylinder gap is almost non-existent. I could get it Goonerized and only have $300 in it.

Yep. And it will feel better than any store-bought gun you can buy. He did my Army and it's unreal.

Funny how that tends to happen.  Just to hard to pass one up at that price.  I'm sure it'll shape up and be just fine.

I educated the gals behind the counter on the Italian date code system, but they required me to surrender my driver's license before fondling the weapon in question. As one had to attend to other matters she said told the other gal "you have to tackle him if he runs for the door".  I'm 6'0' and 300 lbs. Laughter ensues as neither are over 100 lbs soaking wet.
