sight regulation

I have a Pietta Spiller and Burr but wow it shoots high, 6 or 8 inches high. What have you other S&B owners done to lower point of impact. I typically shoot at ranges around 10 yards.

About all you can do is raise the front sight by adding on to it or replacing it. Or just learn where it shoots and live with it.

Judging from the Spiller owner’s comments over time here it seems that shooting high is endemic to that mod.

Shooting high is endemic to most. Moreso on Uberti's and older Pietta's. About all that I have that aren't real high are .36 navies which weren't originally sighted in at 75 yards. Have no clue why a S&B would be that high if they used the original sight height.
