Any interest ?

Pietta ( Cabelas ) offers an 1860 Army .44 Sheriff, the shorter barrel makes it a Sheriff,
everything else is the same.
Does this interest any of you ?

Sure. Yea, I’ve always liked those shorty bros (5.37" barrel).  But, for 280 U.S. I think I’d just get another eight inch.

Yes but I like the Uberti's better. A cut down Uberti 1860 Army would be awesome. I have seen quite a few original cut down 1860 Army, it seems to have been a fairly common mod back in the day. This one is particularly cool, I like how they reshaped the grip: http://percussionrevolvers.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=fc0u5ujo6f7dkhhsnbc6rifg97&topic=365.0

It would if I was in a buying mood. As it is, I can't figure out where to stick all the BP revolvers I've got. (l"

Me personally? Not really, for that kinda scratch I'd rather have the full size. Although I could see where they'd be useful if you were using converters in a SASS match or something.  (@+

I like the longer barrels better, but I like and own the short barrel models also. They are a lot of fun to shoot. They do interest me. The Walker and or the Dragoons would be real neat with a short barrel, although I wouldn't cut one down myself.

Dellbert ,I kinda like both short and long barrel. Longer barrels of course give better
accuracy. I have several shorties and all shoot.......well not where Ide like.
Haven't shot this one yet.
Not sure I'd want a shorty Walker.
