Baby Dragoon
« on: August 10, 2013, 10:31:24 PM »
This Baby Dragoon is a bit of a rare bird due to the loading lever, squareback trigger guard, and non-standard cylinder engraving scene (not your run-of-the-mill Ormsby stagecoach scene)
A picture with Big Daddy D:

Pretty small in the hand....

Capt'n K, I have never seen a cylinder scene like that! Here is my brand new baby Dragoon that I aged a bit. This is the only gun I have ever done this to, prefer to let them acquire the patina naturally.

Wow...beautiful aging and patina if I do say so! What did you do to strip that one...white vinegar?

I used bleach on this gun. Takes the bluing off and etches the metal a bit.

No, just wiped it on the frame and barrel.

Ahh, makes sense. I bet it stunk to high heaven. When I clean the bathroom with bleach I can smell it for days!
