Grant / Lee Commemorative ‘51 Navy revolvers

I’ve seen lots of the Grant / Lee cases sets as singles and duals. I know the production quantities too, but have seen no original packaging for them. What box was the revolver in (if any)? If they were in those first black boxes with the Colt logo on top I would expect a lot of boxes to still be around. Does anybody know specifically how they were packaged? Need info for the book I’m working on.
