If that's at me Captain, I was researching info unregistered (lurking) on a few forums just reading and following links guys posted with information and articles on the 1847 and 1858 and you mentioned this board to someone, your words were to the effect of "...if you want to shoot the Colts, you should check out our sister forum..." so I checked out the board you linked, and that board ended up leading me here. Anyway I was getting all caught up in information overload and decided I'd better start joining forums and bookmarking if I was that interested....errr... obsessed....

I got it bad guys. Went to Cabela's today just to price shop slings, soft cases, and other stuff for my modern rifles, and walked out of there with 2 Triple K holsters, just to protect them while they are in the safe, and when I transport them! spent most of my time looking at muzzleloader pistols, kits, muzzleloader rifles, studied all the possibles, (or whatever you call the accessories) I did buy 100 brass cases for my 220 Swift also, but that was a quick guilt grab on the way out to the register.
