I have never seen the magic in the Josey Wales Colt. A regular '61 Navy and a bottle of vinegar will save you more than $150.00. Just sayin'...

Midway sure must be proud of this Pietta.  $490 regular price?? The price has probably been "slashed" $150 because it has been collecting dust for quite a while. I had thought Midway was a pretty good outfit, but their markup is, well, a bit high.

I agree with the Captain. Here's a blued Pietta 1861 .36 from Taylor's for $300, and they don't give stuff away.

The new owner is going to take it apart to clean the "new" out of it anyway, and even gourmet vinegar is cheap.

It appears that Pietta may be using something else to color case the frame and load lever/rammer that has little "color" to somewhat match their antiqued parts insofar as modern "aging".

Comments?

Besides, this old man likes blued guns.

Hi, wow, with all the negative comments on this revolver, I doubt if it was a group member that purchased it we will ever see a report about that revolver. Someone bought it and got it for a good deal compared to the original price.
