Hi, Dead eye Duke touts Slix Shot nipples:



Every Slix Shot nipple set I ever purchased had the nipples 0.010" longer than the stock nipples. The longer length may cure some improperly set up revolver's ignition, but may cause the hammer face to peen with a correct dimension hammer to nipple distance using stock nipples. Properly set up revolvers have at least 0.005" distance from the hammer to nipple. This allows occasional dry firing without damage.

Of course if one really is hot to throw ~$40 away, you can buy Slix Shot nipples and shorten the hammer face accordingly.

Great Slix-Shot commercial, Duke!  The check’s in the mail.

Frazier went off script at the end of the vid by mentioning that smoothing the hammer face on his 60 took care of his problem. 

Apparently my stock Pietta cones are not supposed to function well; I just don’t understand why they do.
