From Christmas Eve.

Got the rifle as a Father's Day gift a few years ago.  Finally got around to making meat with it!

Real nice, Shooter.  Is it a Henry?

Yes, it's an octagon barrel Henry.

That exact mod like yours will be my next gun purchase.  Within the last 90 days I got another Ruger 10/22 carbine and a Browning Buck Mark and real soon I’ll get that Henry.  Those are such lovely guns and the octagon barrel really sets up the overall beauty of those guys.  Youngest son got one about three weeks ago and shooting it put me over the edge.  I’ll have my own real soon.

I have never eaten squirrel although my oak trees are full of them.  What withal the .22 shooting I've been doing lately it may be time for a stew.

I love my Golden Boy. The action is slicker than snot on a porcelain doorknob. The only thing I would change is the brightness of the receiver cover. I've been oh so tempted to cut loose with a can of Krylon antique brass or bronze. (jh

I was wanting a Golden Boy in 38/357 but couldn't find one at a price I was willing to pay. Found a stainless Rossi for a lot less. Still wouldn't mind a Golden Boy......
