Colt !860 Army shoulder stock
« on: October 12, 2013, 08:28:07 PM »
I just bought, off of FLEABAY, a Uberti 1860 Army engraved shoulder stock.

I have two, Uberti replicas, of the Colt 1860 Army. And, with this new to me, shoulder stock, I now have a shoulder stock for each firearm, if I ever feel the need for that.

I didn't need it, need had nothing to do with it. I just wanted this stock because of the uniqueness of the engraved shoulder stock and it's great condition.

I have digital cameras. As soon as I can figure out how get pictures into my computer, and how to post pictures on here, I'll take some and post them.

I don't like photobucket...

Stillwater, try Tinypic, I like it better than Photobucket.

Pustic, I'm glad you said it, TinyPic is what I've been using all along...browse, open, download, copy and paste ;)

(of course you want to edit the picture down, if it's 2mb in size,  that's what will show up here...huge)

I use both Tinypic and Photobucket, and they're both easy to use, but with Tinypic, you don't have to watch a stupid commercial while your pictures download.

i know that my uberti 1860 is so accurate with the shoulder stock on it makes me shudder everytime i use it. stupid thing really points out to me just what i lack in revolver shooting. i hate it so much that i cant wait to go out and shoot it again tomorrow. i will throw the stupid thing away as soon as i can compete with it just using the revolver alone. dang thing makes me angry everytime i use it ... so angry i smile and mumble every time the trigger gets squeezed. breaks my heart to know how many grouse and bunny's can and have fallen to this snappy outfit. the roast grouse taste a bit different having been felled with this stupid shoulder stocked uberti 1860. guess i better stop talking about the crazy thing before i gotta go out and shoot with it again and get my blood pressure up with the anger it causes.

STUPID SHOULDER STOCK !!!

Well, when yer ready to throw it away, just throw it over here to PA. As a retired Pastor, I am used to helping people with their problems and often just take their problems on myself to help unburden them. Just my calling, I guess.   L@J

I've wanted to get a stock for my 1860 one day.
Not to be nosey, but what would I expect to spend if I were to shop where you did?

I usually save this photo until April 1st, but here's my 1860 with the stock!

Actually, I have used a stock on the revolvers and I am not fond of them.  For me, it changes the POI.  When I want to go with a long gun, I grab one to go with the short gun.

Mighty nice pair ya got there StrawHat.  My only BP smokepole is a 50 rocklock. But what the hey, it shoots and makes lots'o smoke. Sometimes I even get close to what I'm pointing at, too.  *6'   )k*
