I wouldn't shoot a gun with a short loading lever without using the Slixhand bar. Talk about saving my hand!

Watched that video, looked at the SLickHand bar, went up to the garage, got a deep well socket, and a half inch extension... thinking this 'll do.

Had to utilize a vice after the fact, to unf**k the loading lever.

I didn't know about the Slix Handbar.  It looks nice.
I have been using a brass pipe on my 5" barrel Colt.

Use a piece of garden hose.  If that won’t work for you then get a longer gun.
