Are the open tops also produced with the short arbors?  GF

Yes Sir, the arbors are short. If I pound the wedge in, the guns barely function. I will be addressing the issue shortly.

An enabler iz what you iz... L@.

Question; do all CAS/SASS events require you to be 2 X 2 or are there any that allow solo sixgun?

Hey, what are friends for, if not to enable each other!  L@.

SASS requires two pistols. I shot my very first match with only one, because the damn bolt spring broke in one of mine. So for every stage I shot, I had at least 5 recorded misses. It's always at least 10 rifle, 10 pistol and 4 shotgun.

Yep, race guns last longer with coils instead of flat springs. The amount of shooting done in cas puts "extra" demands on a S.A.'s  parts. Timing and fit become much more important. That includes the arbor length  correction.

Very nice pair of revolvers there! I HAD an ASM '72 in 44 Colt, but sold it to a friend about 10 years ago.....been kicking my self every day since then.

Thanks Mazo!

These are getting harder to come by. Out of all my revolvers, these won't be going anywhere. They'll eventually be my kid's.

Fine looking set of pistols Dave! I am just having a problem with, as they said a few years ago, "wrapping my head around" no load lever! I know it is not needed for these, but they almost look naked without them! I am sure you will put them to good use.

Enjoy, sir!

Yes, you're right, they do take a little getting used to. But once you look close and realize they were redesigned without the lever, you see how sleek they are. The barrel lug looks nothing like a C&B Colt.
