I was wondering if you got it too Hewy. Glad you did!

Let me know when you go shoot and I'll tag along and burn some powder too. If you don't mind the company of course!

Hi Hewy, the 1860 Civilian I got from Taylor Firearms not long ago has a brass backstrap and full sized 1860 grips. Since these photos were taken a taller front sight was installed to have poi=poa using .45 Colt conversion cylinders.

Richard

Could be Ubertis are over all smaller than Piettas ?

I know this is the case with the 1858 Remingtons. Very likely so.

Very nice, Hewy! Now all you need is a full-fluted cylinder to go with it!

Very nice Hewy! Have you taken the civilian 60 out for an exorcise period? If it shoots like mine does, it will need smaller inside diameter nipples. Other then that mine shoots like a dream.

Which front sight will or did you use? I have a couple options but have not decided yet.

Those Uberti 60 grips are sure a good fit for this old galoot's hands.

Haven't takin it to the range yet, too dang hot here in SoCal.
The sights will probably stay as made, I'm not one that modifies . Easier to employ Kentucky ,POWBG ( point of where the bullet
go.)
