I watched a rerun of Seraphim Falls yesterday, the storyline taking place in 1868. It included an 1851 Navy .36 brasser, a Richards-Mason Colt, a brass framed lever gun, and a few others. Not too bad except for the Navy.
Also watched Crossfire Trail that had a 1876 Winchester .40-60 (supposedly) and an Evans rifle, among other long guns. The best part about the script/screenplay was when Wilford Brimley was asked why he had the Evans. The reply was that it held 28 shots and he was not a good rifle shot. Got a kick out of that.
