Hi Emery, mice avoid areas where there is peppermint oil. Put a few drop of peppermint oil on rags located near where you want them to stay away. I use it in my outdoor magazine to keep mice out. Works well.

Hi Emery, I opened my outdoor powder storage box that has some peppermint oil in it and found zero evidence of mice entering the box during the winter and spring. Peppermint oil really works to discourage mice.

I don't care if it is sporting or not....this is WAR!

I read you loud and clear! I waged war on the little buggers in my basement a couple years ago. I appear to have the upper hand.

we moved from my house in ellsworth maine to camden for jobs both my fiance at the time and i were offered, she was a nurse i was security at a methadone clinic. when we moved back to the house in ellsworth a year or so later after the clinic closed, we found a flee and mouse infestation. i tried poison, bombs, traps, all the normal stuff to no avail. then i remembered something my mother always told me "never mix ammonia and bleach, you will kill everyone in the house!" so i got a 5 gallon bucket and 2 gallons of each, poured both into the bucket and ran out the door and went camping for the weekend. we came back two days later and there were no more flees, we found 5 dead mice in the middle of the living room floor and several others throughout the house. added bonus, all the carpenter ant colonies within a 30ft radius of the house were gone, but the best part, i never saw another mosquito near that house for the next 3 years we lived there before i moved back south. bad thing is the carpets and furniture were slightly faded and everything made of steel had a good coating of surface rust on it. thankfully my guns were locked away and didnt get rusty, my gun cabinet did but the guns didnt.

im not saying you should use "chemical warfare", but it works very well... )j^

I will definitely try the peppermint oil as mice get into everything in the reloading area, even drawers.
