Two of my Baby Dragoons
« on: September 22, 2011, 02:51:58 AM »
Here are two of my Baby Dragoons.

Both have the 6" barrel.

And another photo without the accoutrements.

It is my intention to build a case to hold the two revolvers but that is a project for less busy times.

I believe they are both made by Armi San Marco.  The time frame is correct for ASM and to the best of my recollection neither have a makers mark on them.  I will look at them again soon and refresh my memory.

As for cases, I make my own.  I have a supply of recyled lumber and for these cases I will be using mahogany.  I resaw the 1x stock down to half inch and use the wider piece for the carcase of the box and the narrower pieces for the divisions.  I am currently material rich and time poor, so this is a project to be done at a later time.

Not a problem, but it will be a while.  I work on my guns, build cases and such when other projects are slow.  Currently, the Farmers Markets are keeping me busy but they are beginning to wind down.  Hopefully, I will be able to build one or two this coming winter.  ALso have a rifle or two on the bench that need work.

Thanks, I have not taken these to the range yet.  They may never make it.  The square backed guard makes it nearly impossible for my trigger finger to engage the trigger.

But, I have my Pocket Navies and Pocket Police revolver to fill in during range time!
