Glad to come aboard! Thanks for the invite Captain! Got the refinished grips drying on my new '51 Navy "Sheriff's Model as we speak! Will post pics ASAP! Looking forward to this!

It's a Pietta "51 Navy Sheriff's Model with 4 7/8" barrel and steel frame. I removed the "tail" and reshaped the grip frame to a more Colt like configuration. I stripped the red stain from the otherwise lackluster grips, and went back to natural walnut color. Piling on multiple coats of tung oil as we speak! As soon as I get the grain to fill to my liking, I will post pics!!!!!
