new toy came yesterday underneath all the pitting and corrosion is a highly polished old Colt blue finish

That's a real beauty!

I really love the 1903 and 1908 Colt's.

I had a 1908 .25 for quite a while. Someone else wanted it more than me, and offered too much for it. So I sold it.

Had some grips made giraffe bone the inlays are 1903 silver dimes

I have a 1908 in 25 Auto, identical to the Colt in every way but the name!
