Oklahoma Creek Found Handguns
« on: May 31, 2020, 02:45:58 PM »
On another forum quite a few months ago, I believe, some guy in Oklahoma was digging around in a creek in Oklahoma and discovered a cache of old, apparently handmade, handguns buried under a bank ledge. As the thread went on, it was conjectured that the "gunsmith" ran afoul of his wife or someone with access to his to his guns and hid/buried them in the creekbank; only speculation. These are strange guns, indeed. I downloaded/copied 24 photos that the OP posted in various stages of cleaning them up.

I will post a few of the photos now. I don't know what the limit is as to how many I can post at one time, and I don't want to run afoul of the rules.

To start:

Let me know if you would like to see the rest of the photos.

Regards,

Jim

No limit on pics Jim. You know how much we love pics!!

Post em up. Those things are so different, they're kinda cool.

You'd think as unique as they are, that someone would recognize them.

Someone was talented and put a lot of work into them for them to end up like that.

They are all pretty neat designs. I am assuming they are some kind of target guns.

I like that serpent on the backstrap of the one.
