A One and Only

On 17 September 2010 Dr. Davis and I were bidding on the same rare revolver listed on GunBroker.  I let him have it for the RPRCA collection.

Fast Forward to 12 June of 2020.  Thanks to October Country I now own that very revolver that is still Uber rare being that there is still not another one known to exist.  The revolver is a Gregorelli and Uberti steel frame, .36 caliber Sheriffs Model Leech and Rigdon with a blank cylinder, Navy Arms Barrel Address, and a 1961 Date code.  It has never been fired and appears to have never been cocked.  It is as pristine as the day it was made  Pictures follow:

Yeah Fingers, that one is amazing.

I wish October Country would put more up for sale. Provided they have more of course. It's been the same ones on their site for weeks now.

I have it on good authority that there are six to 10 GUs left. I should be getting a list.

I seem to remember hearing of that incident! Glad you ended up with it. As for the October Country auctions, I'd love to get an inside scoop on what they are offering. I've managed to plug most og the empty holes in my collection but still looking for a few one-offs

Fingers, I downloaded all of your photos. Is OC going to post them for sale at a price?

I am interested in one of them if at a good price, but I think they belatedly got wise that they we earlier selling them early on for too cheap and now are rethinking their business model.
