Actually, with .375s it's not bad.  .380s are a little tougher.  I have a piece of tygon tubing I use on even the long loading levers that works great on this and my Navy Arms Frontiersman revolvers.

Fingers,

Very nice pistol EXCEPT (and I'm going to be the curmudgeon here) for the white grips. They might be plastic, bleached bone, ivory, whatever...

The grip is white. Even Hickok was wrong with his '51's.

I like nicely figured wood. I think a birdseye maple grip would look fantastic on that pistol if one is looking for a light color.

Flame me if needed, people!   (??

I think that style of gun looks good with carved ivory like Hickock's but fancy wood looks out of place on them. JMO.
