Pulling bullets

If you need to pull a bullet from a loaded case because of a mistake (I have never done that
) and don't have an impact puller or collet-type puller, this is a quick and easy tip. Run the loaded bullet up through the top of the press (no die!) and grab the bullet with pliers or diagonal cutter, lower the ram and pull the bullet. You likely won't be able to re-use the bullet unless you have been super careful.

That's a good idea. Even if the bullet gets destroyed, you can throw it in the melting pot and reuse it that way.

Absolutely, and quicker than getting the impact puller out or setting up a collet puller. Yeah, those methods preserve the bullet, but unless you have a bunch to do, this works great.

Use this method all the time especially if I buy brass and wind up with someone else reloads.

Here's a couple of other types of bullet pullers.
