Cleaning lube from bullet bases
« on: August 30, 2020, 08:01:37 AM »
It seems like no matter how careful I am in lubing bullets, whether with my Lyman sizer or pan lubing, I end up with lube on the base. I took a 6" piece of scrap 2 X 4 and stretched an old sock over it. I just rub the bullet base on the sock to clean it. When all 4 sides are pretty well used, you can either wash the sock or simply replace it with it's mate.

Hello Mazo,

I always just rub them on a rag laying on my bench.

That's what I do. I'm not into all these high tech gizmos. (7+"
