Remmies Rule?
« on: September 08, 2011, 06:48:49 PM »
I'm bjmac. Most of you may address me as BJ, others as MR.bjmac, SIR.!!! (7&
I opted into this forum so that the *&$$#@Remmie lovers can get a taste of their own medicine. such as: the remmie design was copied from a french design of 1832 by well known and respected designer Andre de Remming. It was a total flop commercially as well as militarily. Too expensive to manufacture, too complicated to maintain in the field, and generally inferior to the design of Sam Colt.
Perfect evidence of this is reflected by the fact that Remmington even undercut the purchase price of his (stolen) revolver (from a frog, no less!) to the federal Government, and still could not gain a sales advantage.
Please people, do the research and don't believe everything you read on the internet.
More facts to come.
A taxpayer is one who does not have to pass a Civil Service examination to work for the government.

Good morning, and so it starts........:)

As for the smileys, there are more to come. Eventually, both forums will have the same smiley selection. There is a technical problem at the Remmy forum that will take a little time to resolve.

I was going to argue every one of his points, but didn't want to do it on the Remington forum. I didn't agree with anything he said, except that he has girly hands.

I don't need anyone to agree with me. I know when I'm right, and that's all that matters. :P

All sarcasm aside, it's really what WORKS for a guy. Remmies just work for me. Obviously, they don't work for you...and that's OK. If everyone shot the same thing this BP thing would be a drag.

When I got started shooting black powder revolvers (in competition), it was easier to add adjustable sights to the top strap of the original Remingtons we used.  Evnetually, my hands grew to the point that the smallish grips of the Remington was not helping me shoot good scores so I went to using Colts and from there replicas.  It's all a matter of fit.
