I am fortunate in that I can buy black powder from a couple of places locally.  Not much more than a one hour round trip.  So I can buy a couple or five pounds at a time as I need it.  If things were different, I would have to buy by the case to have it shipped.

I still haven't fired my Uberti Walker yet; hopefully sometime soon we will be able to take advantage of a  little warmer day to go shooting. I don't have a local supplier of black powder, not since the gun shop in Madison closed. They were quite expensive too. I have purchased 2 cases of black powder over the years, split between a couple of friends. I still think that is the way to buy powder if none is available locally.
