.45 cast lead bullets

A question for all of you experienced C&B gunmen. I have two Dragoon revolvers made by Armi San Marco. I’m considering trying. Cast soft lead .452  bullets,  I’ll be looking for a 200 gr 45acp mold.  What do you think ?

C&B revolvers need either a rebated base or tapered base to load straight and you will probably have to load them with the cylinder off the gun. The lube grooves on modern bullets are too narrow but you might get by with a revolver.

Check out the molds from Mark Hubbs.   http://www.erasgonebullets.com/    I have several of his products and plan on getting another soon.   You won't find any bullets that are easier to load and work just as well alone as they do when used with paper cartridges.
