info on a small pistol

I have a small percussion pistol, b4 U ask, no I can't post pictures of it. as stated b4 my laptop wont comply. so here goes it is a total legenth of  8 inches from bottom of butt to the barrel end. it has a checkered butt. Iron trigger guard, Iron ram rod with a button end. barrel legenth from tang to muzzle is 6 inches, with a brass bead front sight. bore DIA, is .390, smooth bore. .620 DIA. across the flats. lock & hammer are engraved, with a floral pattern. a single screw with washer holds the lock in, opposite side at rear of lock a wood screw is at the rear of  the lock. a round pin holds the barrel at the front of stock. the barrel is marked, made in SPAIN, MENDI.9842-(12M/M) 9842,that is about it. any help / information will be appreaciated. toot.

It's a Spanish overcoat pistol. What do you want to know other than what you posted?

I don't own one, that's just a pic I found. There were a lot of them sold in the 60's and 70's but I can't say they're exactly common now.

Yeah it could be classified as one. It might could even be classified as a muff pistol.
