Time to modify message
« on: February 04, 2021, 07:28:09 AM »
Hi Dave, it would be nice if the time to modify message time was a little longer than a couple of seconds. My old brain works slower where I need more than a few seconds to change a message before it is marked edited.

Regards,
Richard

Try it now.  You should have 3 minutes to modify if my settings took.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention Richard.

And thanks for fixing it Capt.

I didn't realize it was set like that.

I have never noticed a lack of time....I just click on the Modify header and type in my revision. Am I not understanding the problem?

After you've posted, if you decide to change something, it puts a stamp at the bottom of your post saying you edited it. If you could catch it before the time limit (which was only 3 seconds I believe) the stamp wouldn't show up. Capt increased that time to 90 seconds now.

So if you can catch your mistake and fix it before 90 seconds, no one will ever know now.

The message should look like below.

Actually, the setting was at zero. I upped it to 6 minutes.
