Lyle, I got a notice that Buffalo Arms had black powder in stock. Get a couple of friends together and buy a larger quantity. That way you can split the cost of HazMat, keeping the cost down. You can also mix granulation. It will be delivered right to your door.

With storage regulations the way they are now it will be hard to find locally. If they do have it you will have to ask for it since it can't be out on display.

But I do live very rurally.

I don't think anyone stocks black powder anymore due to the regulations. Your best bet is ordering online from somewhere like Graf's.

I'm not sure how many places today distribute BP. Perhaps a search for distributors will turn up names. In the past, I got cases of BP shipped from Clarksville Gun and Rod. They were a large Goex distributer . For these close to Friendship, In. the NMLRA has BP available during shoots.

I use Powder Inc on the rare occasions I buy real BP but I tend to buy Swiss.
