My wife and I took. A trip to Branson, MO. There is an old time 5and10 store filled with all sorts of tourist souvenirs. I found the old time role caps made in Germany. I hope to use them as cap primer charge. After assembling a couple of the cap. They functioned but were weak. I hope to report success in a few days.

I've seen them on Amazon and Ebay both
As I remember “Tap-O Cap” recommended paper role caps to prime there caps. They were in business for years. I’ll try these in my homemade percussion caps. Will report the results
I got around to making a few #10 caps with roll caps as priming charge. I got from the craft store two hole punches to experiment. I got a 1/4 inch and 1/8 inch punch. Neither is perfect and less effective than the old stash of red ring caps which never need to fail if constructed carefully. It takes at least 4 caps to produce a strong enough charge. It is a tedious process as the punched out caps are small, hard to handle. Tweezers will work as tool to manage the caps and a bamboo scerer . One of those plastic Large rifle primer trays will serve to hold your cap cups. The1/4 inch caps work best if you center them in the cup. I’ll keep reporting.
