you guys are sooooo nice... had a great day.. sun broke through the rainforest clouds and we got up into the upper 70's.. I took the drone out with the wife and scouted for sockeye "red" salmon, and had a bunch of friends over to my surprise... even our own outlaw kid (Surgio) and his family made the 100 mile trip to the bushes and celebrated the big 60 with me. it was a grand time. the wife made me my favorite pecan pie, and oh my was it grand.
not sure if you guys can see in the resolution of this uploaded picture, but the sockeyes have arrived. the greenish stuff on the top of the water is foamy pollen, but if you look carefully, you can see the salmon lining up as small black dots underneath. this was about a 5 mile flight from the nearest old logging road and hight of about 170ft above the water. the woody branches and such are debris at the bottom of the river...
