How do you carry your RBs to the range?

I have used about anything you can think of to carry the RBs to the shooting area, but I like these best. Here are a few of my "ball bags".

This is a little more elaborate than the simple sack. The stopper is "spring loaded" and retains it in the neck snugly.

I also have a couple that use this type of neck and stopper.

Generally, in a ziploc baggie. How lame is that?

I have a couple of options.

I made this molded "ball flask" a while back. It works really good.




I also made this ball sack with a flat, round bottom. That way it's easy to reach in and grab a ball.

I've got one round bottom bag somebody gave me. All my others I made out of welding chaps, burn scars and all. They're nothing fancy, just draw string bags.

Zip-Loc baggies . That and Tupperware containers, small boxes, peanut butter jars, etc. I do have one flat bottomed bag and they are more stable in use. I also have a small molded bag (rawhide) that I got as a blanket prize. I would like to try my hand at making one (or more) of those. Nice to just throw a bag or 2 in the shooting bag for dedicated shooting.

I just did order a round, flat bottom bag like you also pictured and await its delivery to try out. Most of my needs entail carrying stuff to the loading table at Cowboy shoots. I like to appear as "traditional" as possible in terms of design and materials.

    You guys have some great looking RB bags,I have a couple plain drawstring bags I've made,a couple RB bags with wooden necks and stoppers I've bought,but honestly I use square tea bottles if I actually plan to shoot a bunch,or small pill bottles if I am hunting or just want a extra dozen shots or so with me.

     If I was going to be at a public range I'd use proper ball bags,other then Military Ranges I think I've only been on a official range 3 times,since 99% of my shooting is by myself in my pasture I am lazy

  ShotgungunDave,I dont want to come across bad,but their is absolutely no luck involved, its 16-24 hour days,and going plumb broke 3 times,pout cry and snort for few days every time I went broke,then dig toenails in and try again ,I know it was friendly joke ("but I dug myself out 3 times )when easy way was declare bankruptcy,when I went broke farming first time it took me 8 years after selling out to pay everyone off,I own free and clear couple hundred acres and cash rent a couple couple hundred no luck involved..
MY Siblings had luck,.do nothing and take 2/3 of profit,that broke me first time in 1988

I hear ya Sodbuster. You're absolutely right, I was just funnin with ya. I have a similar story to yours. I have made and lost several fortunes in my lifetime. No one ever gave me a thing that I didn't bust my butt for.
