Yep, mine is just like that. As soon as you pierce the CO2 cartridge it instantly loses all pressure.

I forgot that I had one of these when I was 12. I had forgotten all about it and don't even know what happened to it.

I still have mine Tim. It's like new in it's original box even.

Dave,  so, is it a Co2 or just air? I really don't remember ever putting a cartridge in it. I know you charged it by pulling back side of the pistol. Help me out Dave.

Yep, spring powered. Weak as hell. My brother and I used to shoot each other with it. It didn't even leave a mark.

I'll dig it out when I get home later and post a picture.
